Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Tran worked as a staff dentist for the United States Army at Fort Lee, Virginia for two years. Dr. Tran received extensive training in oral surgery while she practiced dentistry in the Army. Dr. Tran was awarded the "Best Dentist" award, a selected award for a few best dentists in the Army.

After her departure from the Army, Dr. Tran continued her dental career as a dental associate for a private group practice in Northern Virginia. While in private practice, she developed and had a passion for endodontics (root canal therapy). She took hundreds of hours of dental continuing education. She performed many root canal treatments and was often praised by her patients as having a gentle touch.

Dr. Tran also loves to treat children- she has many nieces, nephews and a daughter of her own. She is a very patient and gentle dentist to all her patients, children and adults alike. She understands that young patients tend to have apprehension and ambiguity when visiting the dentist.
